GM. This is Dumb Money Daily — the support group your portfolio didn't know it needed. Today: a memecoin insider dump, a short squeeze everyone but one guy saw coming, a Fed-comment liquidation, and an earnings beat that still printed a loss. Combined damage today: $463,400.
Here's what we've got today:
🏆 $GIGA dropped 81% in 40 minutes after a single insider wallet dumped its bag.
💀 Shorted a stock with 38% short interest. The squeeze ate him in 40 seconds.
⚡ 75x ETH long. Liquidated 12 minutes after a Fed presser.
📈 Bought weekly puts on a stock that beat earnings by a mile.
🤣 Dumb memes from the trenches.

LOSS OF THE DAY 🏆
At 1:50 PM, $GIGA traded at $0.0412. By 2:30 PM it was at $0.0078. No hack, no exploit: one wallet holding 11% of supply sold into every bid until none were left.
u/giga_chad_holdings had seen the on-chain data showing that wallet's 11% stake. He bought $198,400 more anyway, because the chart "looked like it was about to break out." It broke — down. The wallet started selling two minutes after his buy cleared.
$GIGA's $940 million market cap sat on roughly $14 million in daily volume — thin enough that one determined seller moves price more than any "utility" ever will.
He bought the top of a chart being actively distributed by the one wallet large enough to crash it, two minutes before that wallet started selling.
He posted at 2:34 PM: "I was the diversified holder." The team has posted three times since. None mention the crash.

The top comment had 9,700 upvotes: "A wallet that controls 11% of supply doesn't need a reason to sell. It just needs a moment when the bids are thick enough to be worth selling into. You provided the moment."
Second most upvoted: "Diversified holder base of one guy who saw the red flag and bought anyway."
He replied to neither. He changed his flair to "still building" four hours later.

🧠 WTF is a “whale wallet”? A single address holding a large share of supply, visible on-chain. The math only holds while it doesn’t sell — and nothing forces that. |

TODAY'S CASUALTIES 💀
Not everybody can be Loss of the Day. But these three gave it their best shot.
Let's run through the tape.
Casualty #1: The Squeeze Pick
u/short_the_hype_88 found a stock with 38% short interest and thought it screamed "overvalued." Every short seller is also a forced buyer the moment price turns.
He shorted $142,300 the day before a buyback announcement and a surprise profitable quarter. Stock gapped up 34% at the open.
His broker covered his position for him forty seconds after the bell.
He posted: "Right about the valuation. Wrong about literally everything else."

Casualty #2: The 75x Long vs. the Fed
u/leverage_lifestyle went 75x long on ETH ahead of a Fed decision, expecting dovish. At 75x, a 1.3% move against you turns a position into a memory.
Fed chair said "patient" four times in six minutes. Markets read that as no cut. ETH dropped 1.6% before he finished his opening remarks.
He was liquidated twelve minutes in, before the Q&A even began.
His comment: "I was reading the wrong meeting." There was only one meeting.

Casualty #3: The Anti-Beat Puts
u/short_vol_steve bought $58,900 in weekly puts the morning of earnings, sure the company would miss. It beat revenue 14%, EPS 22%, raised guidance. His puts needed a drop and watched a 19% rise instead.
He guessed a number he had no way of knowing, and was wrong in the most expensive direction possible.
His comment: "I trusted the whisper number." Whisper numbers are vibes with a decimal point.

TODAY BY THE NUMBERS 📊
We track the data because the data is funnier than anything we could make up.

A whale, a crowded short, a Fed adjective, a whisper number. None of these four were betting on a coin flip — they thought they had an edge. None did.

BITE-SIZED COPIUM FOR THE ROAD 🍩
The best part of any loss thread is the comments. Today's greatest hits.
| • | “I saw the whale wallet. I bought anyway.” Narrating his own crime. — u/giga_chad_holdings |
| • | “Right about the valuation. Wrong about everything else.” Short selling, summarized. — u/short_the_hype_88 |
| • | “I was reading the wrong meeting.” There was only one meeting. — u/leverage_lifestyle |
| • | “Whisper numbers are not numbers.” $58,900 is an expensive textbook. — u/short_vol_steve |
Translation: every one of them named the exact risk that destroyed them, in writing, after the fact. The timing of that clarity is the only thing between any of us and a screenshot here.

DUMB MEMES 🤣
Every issue needs memes. Ours hits different with your 401k open in another tab.

If you made it to the end, you either learned something or you recognized yourself. Both are valid outcomes.
See you tomorrow. Same wallets, same Fed adjectives, same conviction the edge is real.
