GM. This is Dumb Money — the support group your portfolio didn't know it needed.
Today's lineup includes a forex trader who treated a CPI print like a coin flip, a guy who bought a penny stock with stock photos on its website, and someone who locked their savings in a vault they can't open for 47 more days.
$276K in combined losses. Three stories. Zero lessons learned. Here's what we've got today:
🏆 Loss of the Day — 100x leverage on GBP/USD. Liquidated before the CPI print finished loading.: $174,312
📉 Casualty #1 — A penny stock with stock photos on its website. He bought at $7.90. It's at $0.31.: $61,001
⚡ Casualty #2 — A 340% APY staking vault with a 90-day lock. The token is down 88%. He can't leave.: $41,184
🤣 Dumb Memes — Because laughter is free (unlike these trades).

America’s New Money Explained
We believe Executive Order 14241 has unleashed a potentially huge change to America’s money.
Republican or Democrat – whether you support or oppose Trump’s New Dollar – you could soon be using it.
If you have savings in the bank or a stock portfolio, we believe you need to understand what’s unfolding – and take specific action to prepare.
In Porter Stansberry’s new documentary, you’ll discover:
How the last time America reset its money, it minted 1,300 new millionaires a day – and why we believe what's coming could be bigger still.
The 5 assets to own before America's new money rolls out – including the one Porter would buy today for immediate exposure.
The critical resources Trump is moving heaven and earth to control, because America’s new money depends on it.
Why the U.S. government is suddenly buying ownership stakes in tiny American mining companies – a move not seen since the depths of World War II.
Why a single gathering of world leaders this December – at Trump's own Miami resort – could be the moment America's new dollar is revealed to the world as a done deal.
LOSS OF THE DAY 🏆
Every day we crown one person who made the worst financial decision on the internet.
Today's winner didn't just lose money. He lost it in a market that trades $9.6 trillion a day and still found a way to be on the wrong side of a 0.9% move.
Here's the setup. A guy on r/Forex decided the UK CPI print was going to come in hot. His thesis: sticky inflation, rate hike expectations, pound goes up.
He went 100x long on GBP/USD. On an offshore broker. With his entire account.
One problem: CPI came in cold. 1.9% vs. 2.3% expected. The pound dropped 0.9% in three minutes.
At 100x leverage, a 0.9% move is a 90% loss. He was liquidated before the data release page finished loading.
$174,312. Gone. The broker's platform offers up to 500x leverage. He thought 100x was "being conservative."
His post title: "Is there a way to reverse a liquidation." No question mark. Just defeat.

What is 100x leverage in forex? It means every 1% move in the currency pair moves your account by 100%. If GBP/USD drops 0.9%, you lose 90% of your money instantly. Most regulated brokers cap leverage at 30x for retail traders. Offshore brokers offer 500x. That is not a feature. That is a trap.
The forex market moves on data releases measured in tenths of a percent. He bet his entire account on guessing which tenth.

TODAY'S CASUALTIES 💀
Not everybody can be Loss of the Day. But these two gave it a real shot. Let's run through the tape.
Casualty #1: The Penny Stock Picasso
A micro-cap company called $RVLT — "Revolt Motors" — showed up in a Discord server 47 times in one afternoon. The company claimed to be building electric motorcycles.
Here's the thing. The website had three pages. The "team" section used stock photos. The CEO's LinkedIn had 12 connections.
The stock went from $0.40 to $8.70 in three days. u/small_caps_big_dreams bought at $7.90.
Two days later the SEC halted trading. When it resumed, the stock opened at $0.31.
$61,001 gone. He'd put in his entire emergency fund plus $14,000 from a personal loan.

What is an SEC trading halt? The SEC can suspend trading on any stock for up to 10 days if it suspects fraud, market manipulation, or missing filings. When trading resumes, the stock typically opens at a fraction of its halted price. It is not a pause button. It is a trapdoor.

Casualty #2: The Yield Farmer Who Can't Leave
This one's still happening. That's what makes it worse.
u/yield_chaser_420 deposited $46,800 into a 90-day staking vault on a new Layer 2 chain called Meridian. The token: $MRDN. The APY: 340%.
For context: a 340% APY means the protocol is printing tokens faster than anyone could possibly want them. That is not yield. That is dilution with a bow on it.
$MRDN dropped 88% during the lock period. He can't withdraw for 47 more days.
Current value: $5,616. Unrealized loss: $41,184. The APY is technically still 340%. The math just works out to losing money at a 340% annual rate

He checks the dashboard every morning. The number is always lower. He can't do anything about it. It's like watching a candle burn down in a locked room.

DUMB MEMES 🤣
Every newsletter needs a meme section. Ours just hits different when you're reading it from a staking vault you can't exit.

See you tomorrow. Same losses. Different people. Exact same mistakes.
