I believe Elon is about to make his latest invention available to the public.
When he does, sales could go through the roof.
And the stock price of one of his critical partners could soar.
I expect Elon to make this announcement any day now. By the end of the month at the latest.
But you never know with Elon…
He could post it on X tomorrow.
So, there's very little time to act.
LOSS OF THE DAY 🏆
Every day we crown one person who made the worst financial decision on the internet.
Today's winner didn't just lose his money. He lost money he didn't have.
Here's the setup. A guy on r/wallstreetbets watched a YouTube video called "Silver Squeeze 2.0: How $100 Silver Will Make You Rich." Forty-five minutes long. 847 views.
The creator's other uploads were cryptocurrency astrology readings. His most popular video had 23 views.
He watched it twice. Opened a futures account the same day.
He went long 3 silver futures contracts at $64.80 per ounce - $972,000 of silver, controlled with $51,600 in margin.
For context: silver has dropped 12.58% in the past month. It closed at $56.99 on Friday. That is the opposite direction from a squeeze.
Four margin calls in 18 days. He met the first three, wiring $38,000 to his broker. He did not meet the fourth.
Force-liquidated at $57.18. Total loss: $114,300. He started with $51,600 in the account. He now owes his broker $24,700.

"JPMorgan is short 800M oz of silver. The squeeze is inevitable. My broker disagreed." Watched a YouTube video about the silver squeeze. Went long 3 futures contracts at $64.80. Silver went the other direction for 18 straight days. Met three margin calls. Missed the fourth. Broker force-liquidated me at $57.18. Account balance: -$24,700. I owe them money now. Top comment: "Sir, they've been short since 2011. They're doing fine."
|
| Quick math on futures margin: One silver contract controls 5,000 ounces - $324,000 of silver for about $17,200 in margin. That is roughly 19x leverage. A 5% move against you wipes your entire deposit. A 12% move means you owe your broker money. The YouTube video has since been deleted. Silver is still at $57. |

TODAY'S CASUALTIES 💀
Not everybody can be Loss of the Day. But these two gave it a real shot.
Let's run through the tape.
Casualty #1: The Token Burn Thesis
There's a belief in crypto that burning tokens makes the price go up. Less supply, same demand, higher price.
One problem: demand was not holding.
u/pump_it_up_2026 saw that Pump.fun burned 192.3 million PUMP tokens on October 13. He saw an opportunity.
He went 25x long on PUMP at $0.0059 with $26,400 in margin.
Here's the thing. The burn removed 0.019% of total supply. That is a rounding error with a press release.
PUMP dropped 4.06% in one hour on October 16. At 25x, that's a 101% loss. Liquidated in 47 minutes.

POSITION VALUE -$26,400.00 ▼ LIQUIDATED - 47 MIN HELD 15M 1H 4H 1D ALL
|
"PUMP burned 192M tokens. Supply goes down. Price goes up. Simple." Opened a 25x long at $0.0059 right after the burn announcement. Thesis: less supply = higher price. Basic economics. PUMP dropped 4% in one hour. Liquidated in 47 minutes. Account is gone. Top comment: "0.019% of supply. That's not a burn. That's a candle."
|
| Token burns for non-crypto people: Burning tokens permanently removes them from circulation, reducing total supply. In theory, less supply means higher price. In practice, Pump.fun burned 192.3 million tokens out of roughly 1 trillion total. That's 0.019%. If you had 1,000 marbles and threw one away, you would not expect the other 999 to become more valuable. |
Casualty #2: The Carry Trade "Passive Income" Guy
This one hurts because the thesis actually made sense. On paper.
u/carry_trade_king went long AUD/JPY at 100.50 with 50x leverage. Margin: $31,400.
The logic: Australia pays higher interest than Japan. You collect the difference just for holding. Passive income.
He called it "the ATM of forex." It was not an ATM.
The Bank of Japan hinted at another rate hike. The yen strengthened 2.3% in one session. At 50x, that's 115% gone. Liquidated in three hours.
Here's the part worth understanding. The daily carry income on his position was about $140. He lost $31,400 in three hours. That's 224 days of carry income - seven and a half months of "passive income," gone before lunch.

| ||||||||||||||||||||||||
ACCOUNT P&L -$31,400.00 ▼ LIQUIDATED - 3HR HELD 1H 4H 1D 1W ALL
|
He posted the liquidation receipt with the caption: "is there a carry trade without the risk part." That's called a savings account.
